What “Sell” and “Share” Mean (CCPA/CPRA)

Under California law:

• “Sell” can mean disclosing personal information to another business or third party for money or other valuable consideration.
  
  

• “Share” can mean disclosing personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising (for example, targeted ads based on your activity across different websites).
  
  

Do We Sell or Share Personal Information?

A) Sale

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense (e.g., exchanging a list of personal data for cash).

B) Sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising

Whether we “share” personal information depends on the technologies we use on our Site (such as advertising cookies or pixels). If we use analytics and advertising tools that enable cross-site targeting, that may be considered “sharing” under CPRA.

When you submit accident intake information, we may share relevant information with participating attorneys/partners for case evaluation and potential representation, consistent with our Privacy Policy and your submission/consent.

This type of disclosure is generally for service delivery and case alignment, not for cross-context advertising. However, California law definitions can be complex, and we provide this opt-out mechanism to give you control.
